The INTERNATIONAL TACTICAL POLICE ASSOCIATION, A.I.T.P, was founded in the year 2000 in Quebec City, Canada, and currently has its headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. It is internationally recognized as an association specialized in the “Use of police force and Human Rights.”
Since its creation, A.I.T.P. has developed specialized training programs based on realistic scenarios that integrate legal, operational, and ethical dimensions of policing. These programs aim to enhance public safety while fostering trust and constructive relationships between law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve.
One of the most important milestones in the association’s history is the creation of the Latin American Police and Firefighters Games in 2013. Building on this success, the association launched EuroGames112 in 2025, expanding its mission to the European level.
EUROGAMES112 is now one of the two fundamental pillars of A.I.T.P., offering first responders a unique platform where sport, professional exchange, and institutional values come together.
EUROGAMES112 are founded on the core values of fair play, service, commitment, and solidarity, promoting respect and inclusion without discrimination of any kind.
Bringing together first responders from Europe and beyond, the event goes far beyond athletic competition. By bringing sport closer to the community and transforming urban spaces into dynamic centers of engagement and participation, EUROGAMES112 creates meaningful connections between citizens and first responders. This shared experience encourages social integration, strengthens mutual understanding, and reinforces a positive, human-centered perception of first responders within society.
